About the RoleA well-established private building certification consultancy is seeking a Level 1 Building Surveyor to join their Brisbane team, working exclusively on commercial projects.
This role offers a combination of office-based work and work-from-home flexibility, and is suited to a surveyor who is either currently licensed or close to achieving Level 1 registration.
You will be supported by experienced certifiers and exposed to a diverse range of commercial developments across Queensland.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess commercial building applications in accordance with the NCC, QDC, and relevant legislationReview architectural, structural, and fire engineering documentation for complianceSupport senior certifiers through the approval and certification processLiaise with builders, consultants, fire engineers, and councils on compliance mattersAssist with inspections and certification workflows for commercial projectsMaintain accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirementsManage allocated assessments to meet statutory and project timeframesSkills, Experience & QualificationsLevel 1 Building Surveyor registration (QLD) or close to achieving registrationStrong knowledge of the NCC (commercial volumes), QDC,
