Warrah is a leading disability services provider in Northwest Sydney, supporting children and adults for over 50 years.
Inspired by the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, we are a vibrant community delivering a broad range of services including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Support Services (CSS), Warrah Specialist School, and our certified Biodynamic Farm and Farm Shop.This is a permanent part-time position working 70 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.Whether you're an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career or someone with leadership experience in the disability sector, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability.Working alongside the CSS Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day operations of one of our day programs while providing high-quality, person-centred support.
You'll lead by example, coach and support your colleagues, and help create a protected, engaging and positive environment for participants and staff alike.Key responsibilities include:Delivering person-centred active support in line with individual support plansModelling best-practice Person-Centred Active Support and safeguarding principlesCoaching and supporting Support Workers to deliver high-quality supportsSupporting the day-to-day operations of the programAssisting with rostering,



reporting and other administrative tasksMaintaining accurate participant documentation and governance requirementsPromoting safe work practices and compliance with NDIS Practice StandardsBuilding positive relationships with participants, families and colleaguesActing in the CSS Coordinator role during planned and unplanned absencesAbout youYou're someone who leads by example, enjoys supporting others and is passionate about delivering high-quality disability services.You will bring:Experience supporting people with disabilityCertificate III in Disability or a related qualification (minimum)A genuine commitment to person-centred active supportLeadership potential with the ability to coach and support colleaguesStrong communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsConfidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate documentationA positive, collaborative approach and willingness to learnRequirementsNDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking With Children Check (WWCC)Current Class C Driver Licence (confidence driving vans and other fleet vehicles highly regarded)Current First Aid & CPRWhy join Warrah?
