We are seeking a switched-on, solid, and highly autonomous Communications & Content Officer to step in immediately and provide crucial coverage while we recruit for a permanent vacancy.
Joining a small, fast-paced team, you will hit the ground running to drive engaging content across our external digital platforms and take full ownership of our internal communications.This is a highly hands-on role perfect for a creative storyteller who enjoys a mix of strategic execution, community engagement, and on-the-ground content creation.Key Responsibilities:Social Media Management: Drive, launch, and manage vibrant content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to engage both new and existing followersContent Creation: Confidently and independently design high-quality social media posts, graphics, and visual assetsMobile Videography & Editing: Capture high-quality photography and video on mobile devices while out in the community and edit polished packages for digital distributionInternal Communications: Take full ownership of our internal communication functions, including drafting, designing, and distributing our weekly General Manager newsletter and staff updatesEmail Marketing: Utilise platforms like MailChimp to create and dispatch engaging newsletters and public communication materialsOn-the-Ground Coverage: Travel to various local facilities (Ops Centre, parks, community centers)
and events to capture real-time, engaging contentKey Requirements:Experience & Independence: A proven track record in a similar digital communications or content creation role.
You must be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environmentTechnical Proficiency: Expert-level capability with Canva (for independent design) and MailChimp (or similar platforms), alongside solid video editing skills using CapCut and Adobe Premiere ProExceptional Communication Skills: An eye for detail with the ability to adapt your writing style for different audiences, from community social posts to professional executive-level internal updatesStakeholder Management: Comfortable and qualified when liaising with all levels of the business, including Directors and senior leadership.Logistics: You must hold a valid Class C Driver's Licence to visit various off-site locations within the LGANote: Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours to cover local community events is highly regardedHave a current portfolio showcasing your Canva/video editing workexperience5 yearsAt Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
