Your Role
As Centre Cook, you'll play a key role in creating a nurturing, healthy setting through food.
You will:
Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacksMaintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked kitchenOrder supplies and manage inventoryCommunicate with educators to meet dietary needsSupport the centre's mealtime routines and assist where neededBe open to learning more about nutrition for different age groups, especially infantsHours 6:15am to 2:15pm Monday to Friday (open to discuss alternative hours for the right candidate.

Due to open in ****, Harmony Early Education is joining the Albany Creek community.
The centre caters for up to 120 children aged birth to 5 years.
Located at ***** Wruck Crescent, Albany Creek, Queensland, with operational hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm
About You
You are passionate about creating food with purpose and care.
You have:
A Food Safety Handling CertificateCompletion of the National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with a current certificate of completionStrong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy managementA practical understanding of food budgeting and planningCooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential)A commitment to supporting children's growth, development, and wellbeing through food
