Reporting to the Director of Rowing and Head Coach, this is a hands-on role responsible for the management, maintenance and operation of the School's boatshed facilities and rowing fleetThis position is ideal for someone with extensive rowing knowledge, strong technical skills and a passion for supporting young people to achieve excellence both on and off the waterPlease note, this is a permanent full-time opportunity.
Accommodation is provided on site at PutneyABOUT THE ROLEThe Boatshed Manager serves as the key operational contact at The King's School Boatshed, overseeing equipment, facilities and logistics to ensure the rowing program operates safely and efficientlyManaging and maintaining the rowing fleet, trailers, motorboats and equipmentCoordinating repairs, servicing and equipment inventoriesLoading and transporting boats to regattas and campsSupporting coaches and assisting with boat rigging and equipment educationCoordinating rowing camp and regatta logisticsSupervising student boatshed activities, including sleepovers during peak rowing periodsManaging boatshed food service operations and liaising with caterersMaintaining a safe working environment for staff and studentsBeyond the operational responsibilities of the position, there may be opportunities for broader involvement in program delivery, including coaching and athlete development, depending on the successful applicant's skills,
