This is a hands-on role requiring precision, safety awareness and the ability to operate specialised equipment in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with project teams to ensure safe and accurate utility locating, maintain detailed records and deliver high-quality service to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately locate and map underground utilities (water, gas, electricity, telecoms) using specialised equipmentApply AS-**** standards and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) consistently in the fieldInterpret utility plans and cross-check underground asset locationsMaintain detailed records,
QA reports and project documentationCollaborate with construction teams to ensure safe excavation and protection of buried infrastructureCommunicate professionally with clients and coordinate with contractors on project requirementsSupport team development by mentoring trainees and guiding safe, effective work practicesContribute to continuous improvement, productivity, and compliance initiativesSkills & QualificationsMinimum 12 months' experience as a Utility Locator or similar roleNULCA or equivalent course (RIICCM202D - Identify, Locate & Protect Underground Services)Dial Before You Dig accreditation (current or in progress)Proficient with utility locating equipment (radio detection, GPR, concrete scanners)Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to troubleshoot, make decisions under pressure, and maintain high work standardsValid Driver's Licence and White CardWhy Join Us?
