As a Registered Nurse with UPA, you will support our clients to remain independent in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

This role is offered on a part-time basis and is an exciting opportunity to join our Hunter team, based in Wallsend.
About the role
At UPA our Registered Nurses play a key role in ensuring our clients are cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually, responding to their varied needs with empathy and respect.
We are seeking somebody to provide clinical leadership, case management, and holistic care to our clients, including caring for their physical and mental wellbeing.
A strong emphasis on preventative care measures, and a wellness and reablement approach, along with clinical insights in managing risk will support our clients to achieve their goals and feel safe in their home.
What you will need




Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseExperience in Aged Care preferredFamiliar with the Aged Care Act ****Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to Quality and Aged Care StandardsFamiliar with Aged Care FundingAffinity and experience (or willingness to gain experience) working with residents with dementiaExcellent communication and clinical problem-solving skillsExcellent Team player who is highly motivatedSkills in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Work Health and SafetyA requirement to meet National Accreditation competency - CPD hours of 20 minimum yearly standards.
Hold a current Australian Full Driver Licence.
