The role:As our new Business Optimisation Lead – Home Claims, you will drive operational excellence across Home Claims and the broader Claims & Assessing division.
The role focuses on optimising cost-to-serve, improving customer experience, and delivering data-driven solutions aligned to business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include knowledge transfer, training, implementation, and post-implementation reviews to embed change effectively.
You will:
Analyse existing processes to identify gaps and opportunities that drive efficiency, accuracy, and improved claim outcomes.Partner with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate.Contribute to post-implementation reviews and ongoing assessments to measure the effectiveness of optimisation initiatives and identify further improvement opportunities.Utilise advanced data tools and techniques to develop process insights, identify performance drivers, and deliver accurate reports that support the embedment of optimisation initiatives.Build and maintain effective relationships across business and technical teams, providing expert guidance and clear communication to drive optimal outcomes.Provide training and support on new processes, systems, and tools, ensuring employees are prepared to adopt new ways of working.Participate in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring solutions are thoroughly validated and aligned with business requirements.Contribute to the development and maintenance of process maps and detailed design documents, ensuring alignment with proposed solutions and operational needs.
What experience you'll bring:




3–5 years' experience in Home Claims and/or Process Optimisation within a personal insurance context.Strong knowledge of insurance industry best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to Home Claims.High-level analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and develop stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities with accuracy under pressure.Proven project management experience, delivering complex initiatives within agreed timeframes.Proactive approach to continuous improvement, seeking feedback to enhance both personal performance and business processes.Location: North Lakes - Save the long commute to Brisbane and work for a growing company close to home and within walking distance to some of the north side's best retail outlets, restaurants and other amenities.Kawana - This role is based at our Kawana office.
