ensuring HR strategies support business success while delivering an exceptional associate experience.Key Responsibilities Pre-Opening & Talent AcquisitionLead end-to-end recruitment for all hotel departmentsBuild strong relationships with local schools, community groups, and industry partnersCoordinate recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and talent sourcing initiativesSupport Marriott's Access to Opportunity and community engagement programsDevelop onboarding experiences that create memorable first impressionsAssociate Engagement & CultureDrive associate engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and TakeCare initiativesCoordinate engagement surveys and action planningCreate meaningful programs that celebrate achievements and milestonesFoster an inclusive, collaborative, and people-first cultureChampion Marriott's values and AC Hotels brand cultureLearning & DevelopmentCoordinate orientation and onboarding programsSupport leadership capability developmentMonitor compliance and mandatory training completionPromote individual development planning and career growth opportunitiesDrive a culture of continuous learningEmployee Relations & ComplianceProvide advice and support on employee relations mattersMaintain compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards, and company policiesManage HR records, audits, and documentationSupport workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, and performance management processesEnsure best-practice HR standards across the hotelAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous Human Resources leadership experience within hospitality, tourism, hotels, or a related service industryStrong recruitment and talent acquisition experience, ideally within a pre-opening or high-volume environmentSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards, and HR best practicesExperience managing employee relations, engagement,



and culture initiativesStrong organisational and project management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPassion for developing people and creating exceptional workplace experiencesPreferred QualificationsDegree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related disciplineExperience within Marriott International or another global hospitality organisation is highly regardedExperience supporting hotel openings or large-scale recruitment projects is advantageousWhy Join Us?
