As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 within our Dual Diagnosis Program, you'll work alongside Mental Health clinicians to provide specialist Drug & Alcohol consultation, clinical guidance and education for consumers experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
By supporting clinicians to deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred care, you'll play a key role in improving outcomes for some of our most vulnerable consumers.
This is a unique opportunity to combine advanced clinical practice with leadership, education and collaboration, helping to build capability across Mental Health services while contributing to more integrated models of care.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support assessment, treatment planning and recovery-focused care, while also influencing best practice across the service.
Please note:The available positions include working within the Acute Care Team (Illawarra and Shoalhaven), Continuing Care team (Illawarra and Shoalhaven) and within our Child, Adolescent and Youth Mental Health Service (CAYMHS), offering the opportunity to apply your specialist Drug & Alcohol expertise within a range of mental health setting.

Expected Essential Requirements:
Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current AHPRA Registration with at least 3 years' experience working in drug & alcohol and/or mental health or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate
Valid NSW Drivers Licence
