You will receive on-the-job training with a host employer and off the-job training at TAFE, working toward a nationally recognised qualification.Duties include (but are not limited to):Assisting tradespeople with sheetmetal fabrication and installationUsing hand and power tools under supervisionMeasuring, cutting,



and assembling materialsLearning to read basic drawings and specificationsMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentFollowing workplace health and safety proceduresSelection criteria:Year 12 / Senior Certificate completedInterest in engineering, fabrication, or sheetmetal workWillingness to learn and follow instructionsReliable, punctual, and safety-focusedAbility to work as part of a teamWhite Card (or willingness to obtain)Driver's licence or working towards one (preferred)Conditions:Full time apprenticeshipWages paid in accordance with the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations AwardApprentice rates apply based on age and year of apprenticeshipSuperannuation and entitlements in line with legislationTo be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
