We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farmhand to join our avocado operations based across Tolga, Kairi and Yungaburra.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining productive orchard operations.About the RoleThis position involves a broad range of duties across our avocado farms, including:Lifting and loading up to 25kgsOperating tractors and conducting orchard sprayingSlashing and weed sprayingManaging fertigation and irrigation processesChecking, maintaining and troubleshooting irrigation systemsMaintaining on farm vehicles and machineryGeneral farm maintenance and physical labour tasksThe role requires a strong work ethic, physical capability, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role,



you will require:A valid manual driver's licence (essential)The physical capacity to safely perform manual labour, including regular lifting of 25kgExperience with orchard spraying and farm machinery (preferred)Flexibility to work across multiple base locationsThe ability to work both independently and within a teamMechanical skills will be highly regarded.Previous experience in farming is desirable but not essential.What We OfferPay commencing from $35 an hour casual with higher rates negotiable based on experience, attitude and work ethic.Secure, ongoing work within a supportive team environmentWorking Holiday Visa holders need not apply
