We are only looking for candidates who have previously worked in a live Data Centre workplace and understand the high standards, procedures and attention to detail required on mission-critical projects.The ProjectLocation: Artarmon, SydneyStart: Friday 7 August ****Duration: 8–10 weeksHours: Monday to Friday7:00am starts$50 Flat rate per hourAll tools supplied by the client.About the Role Working as part of a professional Smart Hands team, you'll assist with the preparation and installation of structured cabling infrastructure, rack hardware and associated logistics within a mission-critical Data Centre.Duties includeInstall MPO/LC cassettes, fibre adapter plates and cable managersApply fibre and copper cable identification labelsRack and stack servers and network equipmentUse server lifts and material handling equipmentReceive, unpack and organise deliveriesInventory control and pallet breakdownMaterial staging and rack preparationMaintain clean,



organised work areas while following strict Data Centre and cleanroom protocols.Essential RequirementsPrevious Data Centre experience is mandatory.
Applications without Data Centre experience will not be considered.You must have:Proven Smart Hands experience within a Data CentreExperience with rack & stack activitiesExperience assembling fibre patch panels and structured cabling hardwareStrong understanding of fibre and copper infrastructureExperience using server lifts and material handling equipmentWhite CardPolice Check completed within the last 12 monthsFull PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, steel cap boots)Ability to safely perform manual handling and team lifts.Highly RegardedExperience with Panduit structured cabling productsExperience with MPO/LC cassette installationPrevious NextDC, Equinix, CDC, AirTrunk or similar Data Centre experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to work within strict quality standards.Why Join NOW Energy?
