Our Hemmant warehouse and yard is the engine room of Sleeper Wall Constructions — every retaining wall we build across South East Queensland starts here, with the right materials loaded and out the gate on time.
We're looking for someone to take ownership of that yard and run it like it's their own.
We're proud of the walls we put up: solid, protected, built right.
But it all hinges on a warehouse that's tidy, stocked and moving.
That's the job.
If you're the type who likes a well-run yard, knows their way around a forklift, and takes pride in keeping the place shipshape, this one's for you.
What you'll be doing
Running the day-to-day in the yard and warehouse
Loading and unloading trucks on the forklift
Keeping the yard organised and stock under control
Receiving deliveries in and getting materials out to site
Prepping and staging materials ready for dispatch
Working in with drivers, suppliers and our site teams
Keeping stock records straight and handling the basic paperwork




Making sure the yard stays clean, safe and running smoothly
What you'll bring
A current forklift licence (this one's non-negotiable)
Time spent in a warehouse, yard or construction setting
Good organisation and a knack for staying a step ahead
Happy running the yard on your own or working in with the team
Fit enough for the manual handling side of things
Reliable, punctual and switched on about safety
Comfortable with basic computer work (a bonus, but we'll sort you out)
