This is a full‐time position based at our head office in Brisbane Technology Park, Eight Mile Plains.This role is ideal for an energetic individual who is a quick learner, a strong communicator, and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast‐paced environment.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, while being supported by a collaborative and experienced Procurement team.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the receipt of all stock, consumable goods and client samples delivered to the laboratoryAssist with the delivery of samples to the Sample Management TeamDelivering supplies ordered to the appropriate partiesLabelling stock items and storing them to the assigned locationHandling documents - filing,
scanning and copying or retrievalUpdate of stock control and inventory databasesProvide stock and inventory report to the Purchasing OfficerGeneral housekeeping dutiesOther related duties as directed by the Procurement teamThis role requires a certain level of physical work, including lifting and relocating goods and consumables within warehouse storage areas, in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines and safe work procedures.About YouPrevious experience in a similar positionMinimum 1-2 years' experience in warehousing operationsHigh attention to detailExperienced user of Microsoft packages (e.g. MS Word, Excel)A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success and process improvementsWhy Join UsPeople enjoy working at Symbio Laboratories because of our supportive culture and strong teamwork.
