Inchcape combines its worldwide infrastructure with local expertise through our global network of over 240 proprietary offices, across 60 countries and a team of more than 2,500 committed professionals.About the roleReporting to the Regional General Manager, the role is to perform and direct all operational functions, in relation to a vessels port call as direct by the principal and in accordance with government legislation and regulations, port rules and ISS procedures and policies to ensure an effective vessel port call.Main ResponsibilitiesPerforming vessel operations as directed by port managementDelivering a positive customer experience to both internal and external stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with regulatory and principal requirementsProcessing clearances of all vesselsPerforming all arrangements regarding crew movements,
medical cases and crew shore passes in coordination with main office and vessel/principal requirementsEstablish and maintain relationships with principals, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities and service providersPerforming accurate and timely database managementEnsuring pre-funding requests are forwarded to the principal prior to vessel arrivalsProviding the port and head office management with update information on local rules and regulations, changes in port charges, and related requirements other requirementsEnsuring all cargoes, including dangerous goods and special cargo, are balanced, reconciled and reported within required timeframes.Manage supplier invoice processing in conjunction with the shared service team centre.Develop and maintain relationships with principals, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities and service providers.
