With over 20 years of industry experience, we combine strong construction expertise with innovative building methods to deliver high-quality homes for our clients.This role is on a casual basis with the potential to transition into permanent ongoing work.The role:Based out of our Chevallum factory, you will:Fabricate, assemble and weld steel frames and structural components for prefabricated, transportable modular homesRead and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols and specifications to bring designs to lifeCut, shape and prepare steel using guillotines, saws, grinders and plasma cuttersPerform MIG/TIG/stick welding in line with Australian Standards and project specificationsWork within production line timeframes to help meet daily and weekly build schedulesConduct quality checks on welds and completed frames, and follow documented QC processesMaintain a safe,



clean and organised work areaAbout you:We're looking for a trade-qualified boilermaker who:Holds a Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication) and current welding tickets/licences relevant to structural steel workHas a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in residential, modular or prefabricated constructionHolds a valid driver's licence and White CardTakes pride in delivering quality workmanship with strong attention to detailBrings a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skillsEnjoys working as part of a team and helping guide junior team membersBe part of a growing start-up business with a strong pipeline of modular housing projectsOpportunity to be part of innovative projects in the modern construction spaceSupportive and collaborative team cultureWe actively encourage and support a healthy work-life balanceEnjoy the little extras that make a big difference - from doona days and volunteering leave to recognition rewards and retail discounts that help ease the cost of livingPlease note due to the high number of applicants we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
