The Opportunity - Stockland Merrylands, a Community Hub for Food and FashionWe have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Assistant to join the Centre Management team at Stockland Merrylands Shopping Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract.Based on site Monday to Friday (9.00am to 5.30pm), this role supports the day-to-day administration and financial operations of the centre.
It is ideally suited to someone with an accounting or finance background who enjoys working with tenants, managing receivables and contributing to a busy retail environment.We're Looking ForA proactive and organised Administration Assistant who can provide effective administrative and financial support while building positive relationships with retailers, tenants and key stakeholders.What You'll DoWorking closely with the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:Supporting monthly billing activities, including utilities, invoicing and invoice reviewsPreparing accounts receivable invoices, processing daily receipts and allocating paymentsFollowing up outstanding accounts and supporting debt management activitiesActing as a key contact for tenants and contractors, providing responsive customer serviceSupporting public liability insurance compliance and incident management processesMaintaining accurate records and workflows using SAP and other business systemsThis is a varied,
hands-on role where no two days are the same.About YouYou'll bring strong administrative capability, financial acumen and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Comfortable engaging with people over the phone, you are confident discussing outstanding accounts while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.Experience & Skills That CountPrevious administration experience in a customer-focused environmentAccounting or finance experience, including exposure to accounts receivableExperience in property, retail or shopping centre environments is advantageousStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency across Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and WordExperience using SAP is desirable but not essentialThe Right MindsetPositive and proactive approach to workReliable, adaptable and self-motivatedEnjoys working in a rapid-paced retail environmentThe Stockland PropositionAt Stockland, we are a community delivering outcomes that benefit people and places.
