AAMG is currently seeking an experienced High Voltage Electricianto join a leading mining operation in the Bowen Basin.
This is an excellent chance to secure ongoing work on a family-friendly 7/7 rotating day and night roster, working on a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

About the Role
Working within the Mobile Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of high-voltage systems on heavy mobile mining equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair faults on high-voltage electrical systemsMaintain and repair inverters, converters, traction motors,



HV batteries and associated componentsPerform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile equipmentComplete inspections and testing in accordance with OEM and site requirementsUtilise diagnostic software and specialised testing equipmentMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationWork safely in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements
About You - To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent trade qualification)Current Queensland Electrical LicenceCurrent HV Switching qualificationCurrent CPR/LVRStandard 11Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)Current Australian Driver's LicenceProven experience as an HV Electrician on heavy mobile mining equipmentExperience working on CAT, Komatsu and/or Liebherr equipment highly regardedStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across HV electrical systemsCommitment to safe work practices and quality workmanshipAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team
