We're seeking compassionate, creative and energetic Activities Officer to join our team - with a special focus on residents living with dementia.Key Responsibilities:Assist with planning and facilitating daily lifestyle and recreational activitiesEncourage social interaction and emotional wellbeing through music, art, reminiscence therapy, sensory activities, and moreThis position would suit anyone that has a great rapport with the elderly and doesn't mind being a little silly.Assisting residents to the toilet,



assisting with feeding and meal times and working with residents in our secure dementia wings.Training and education will be provided to the right applicants, particularly relating to activities with residents that have dementia.Teamwork is such an key part of working at St Mary's, everyday staff do their best to support each other in achieving high quality care for every Resident.Cert IV in Leisure & Health recommended.Shifts times will vary from: ***********, ***********, *********** but will be a set roster.
Occasional weekend work will be required and odd shifts for special events.
We are looking for a new person to join our team, working 5-6 shifts per fortnight plus relief.
