Implementation Capability Lead
Location: Sydney CBD, hybrid
Lead and develop a team of approximately ***** Implementation Consultants within a growing enterprise SaaS business.
This is a capability leadership role focused on people, delivery standards and commercial performance.
It is not a hands-on technical lead or project Delivery Manager position.
The role: You will lead the Implementation Consultant function and improve how customer implementations are delivered across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and performance managing the consulting team
Developing senior consultants, team leads and emerging managers
Improving delivery standards, governance and ways of working
Managing utilisation, forecasting, capacity and team performance
Reducing rework and improving delivery quality and consistency
Supporting Delivery Managers across multiple customer engagements
Building adoption for new operating models, tools and processes
Improving commercial, customer and operational outcomes
Your background:



You will have:
Formal leadership experience across consulting, implementation, professional services or customer delivery
Experience managing a sizeable team, ideally 15 or more people
Evidence of building or materially improving a delivery capability
Introduced operating models, governance or delivery frameworks that were adopted across teams
Commercial delivery experience covering utilisation, forecasting, capacity or portfolio performance
Experience supporting multiple concurrent external customer implementations
Strong senior stakeholder and change leadership skills
A background in SaaS, software implementation or configurable platforms
Technical implementation experience is helpful, but deep configuration or coding experience is not required.
The priority is proven people leadership, capability transformation and commercial delivery maturity.
