11d ago , from Illawarra Mercury Job Board
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a Sydney based integrated services provider and take ownership of maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial buildings.
From coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance to leading trades and managing subcontractors, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes and exceptional service.
No two days are the same.
One day you'll be troubleshooting a maintenance issue on-site, the next you'll be coordinating a team to deliver minor works or planning preventative maintenance to keep our clients' facilities operating smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day maintenance, repairs and minor works across commercial properties.
Carry out and supervise a range of maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and general building repairs.
Plan and complete preventative maintenance and site inspections.
Lead and support tradespeople and handymen while coordinating subcontractors when required.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Build strong relationships with clients by providing responsive, reliable service and practical solutions.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting things done and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
You'll have:

A formal trade qualification (essential), with a carpentry background highly regarded.
At least five years' experience in commercial maintenance, facilities maintenance or building services.
The ability to carry out basic plumbing repairs as part of general maintenance works.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills and a customer-first approach.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Why Join Us?
This is more than just another maintenance role.
You'll be joining a supportive team where your experience is valued, your ideas are welcomed and you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact.
In return, we offer:
A stable, long-term opportunity with a growing business.
Competitive salary package tailored to your experience.
Company vehicle provided.
Variety in your work across a diverse range of commercial buildings.
A supportive team culture where everyone pitches in.
Opportunities to grow your career as the business continues to expand.
If you're looking for a role where you can combine your trade skills with leadership, problem-solving and plenty of variety, we'd love to hear from you.
