In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our brake press equipment and playing a vital part in our manufacturing processes.What you'll be doingOperating and monitoring the brake press with precision and efficiencyEnsuring all work meets quality standards and production targetsPerforming regular maintenance and troubleshooting on the brake press equipmentIdentifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions in a timely mannerCollaborating with the wider manufacturing team to ensure smooth workflowAdhering to all health,



safety and environmental regulationsAble to interpret engineering drawings.Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and efficiently.What we're looking forProven experience as a Brake Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 3-5 years of brake press operator experience required.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machineryExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced production environmentProblem-solving skills and the ability to think criticallyGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work on a day shift scheduleMust hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible for this position.About usLaser Wizard is a leading sheet metal manufacturer with over 25 years of experience.
