We want an enthusiastic candidate seeking a long-term career within a caring and supportive environment.Reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Manager, the successful applicant will work as part of a collaborative team and be responsible for all matters relating to accounts and bookkeeping for the existing business.
In addition, there is likelihood of starting a new related business and new product line within the existing business.Duties involve:Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payrollprocesses including invoice processing, payments, banking and debt collectionassisting withbank, credit card and cash reconciliationsreconciling supplier invoices againstopen purchase ordersrunning the monthly review and closing of completed purchase orderssupportingCOGS tracking and month-end closing processsupporting preparation of the monthly Profit & Loss and budget variance reportingcreating credit notes and new invoices, etc when there is a variation on sitemaintaining accuratefinancial records and company systemscollecting, collating and maintaining accurate,



professional records of client interactions and informationpossible other admin tasks not directly related to accounts or bookkeepingassisting Management with specific tasks and projects from time to timerelieving other staff positions during annual leave or absences when requiredbeing flexible and willing to assist with any other duties as required.Requirements:full residential and working rights in Australiaminimum2 years' experiencein a bookkeeping, accounts or finance administration rolesound understanding ofaccounting principlesexperience withaccounting software (Xero highly regarded)experience withCRM systems (Zoho highly regarded)exposure topurchase order / COGS reconciliation and month-end closefamiliarity with an inventory system is an advantagestrongExcel and Microsoft Office skillsexcellentattention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesa positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm to develop and learn while following specific proceduresa strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detailexcellent customer service and relationship-building skillsthe ability to follow tasks through to completion while consistently meeting deadlinesstrong written and verbal communication skills with a skilled approachthe ability to quickly learn new programs and systemsa genuine willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being able to work independentlyinitiative, flexibility and a proactive approach to problem solving.We operate within the floor heating industry, however no industry experience is necessary.This permanent, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone looking to invest in their career within a growing Australian business while working with a supportive and energetic team.If you are available to commence soon, we would love to hear from you.
