Basic salary of £34,000 - £38,000 per annum
Overtime available
Permanent, full-time position
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Covering North East England areas
Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone and specialist equipment supplied
Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way
23 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with service

The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out:
Installation, servicing and planned maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
Fault diagnosis, repairs and reactive call-outs when required




Work across a broad range of commercial sites, alongside some residential projects
Coverage across North East region
Ensuring systems are compliant, fully operational and completed to industry standards
Delivering a professional service and maintaining strong customer relationships
Participation in the on‐call rota as part of the engineering team
You will be working on a range of industry‐leading systems including:
Kentec, Advanced, Morley, Hyfire & Cooper
Requirements
A full UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in the fire and security industry
Good working knowledge of a range of fire and/or security systems
Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic ability
The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Flexibility to take part in a call‐out rota
A professional approach, strong work ethic and positive attitude
