The Groups Meetings & Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activity in order to maximise rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales.What will I be doing?
Manage the relationship and business processes between C&E; Sales & C&E; OperationsManage the complete sales cycle from prospecting new leads through to event coordination and ultimately securing repeat businessIdentify trends, and create creative tactical offers to drive both leads and conversionDevelop and maintain strong client relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersRegularly review and manage individual and team performance against objectives and provide feedbackProvide relevant coaching and development to the teamActively be involved through face-to-face client interactions including professional site visits, hosted events, proactive telesales calls and attendance at networking eventsWhat are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role,
you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar roleexperience in producing, analysing and make recommendations from detailed Commercial Reports including but not limited to: Weekly Forecasts, Annual budgets, Demand & Conversion AnalysisExperience of managing and motivating a teamAble to collect and analyse relevant information and provide solutions.Demonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on timeBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
