Peerless Sandblasting & Industrial Coatings Pty Ltd – Salisbury QLDPeerless Sandblasting & Industrial Coatings Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sandblaster / Factory Hand to join our team on a casual basis.
This role is based at our facility in Salisbury, QLD **** and is integral to our surface preparation and coating operations.
As a Sandblaster / Factory Hand, you will be responsible for performing sandblasting operations and general factory duties that support our core business activities.
This is a hands-on position that requires physical capability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining secure working practices in a dynamic industrial environment.Key responsibilitiesOperating sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for coating applications, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to specificationsMaintaining and inspecting sandblasting equipment to ensure it remains in safe working orderFollowing established safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Cleaning and preparing work areas, including removal of debris and waste materialsAssisting with the movement and organisation of materials and equipment around the factory floorSupporting other team members with general factory duties as requiredDocumenting work completed and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisorsMaintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiencyWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in sandblasting, surface preparation, or similar factory/industrial roles (desirable but not essential)Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour,



including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy itemsA strong commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPEAttention to detail and the ability to work to specificationsReliability and the ability to work consistently, even on a casual basisBasic communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisorsA willingness to learn and develop skills in sandblasting and industrial coating operationsAny relevant qualifications or certifications in safety or equipment operation are advantageousWhat we offerWorking with Peerless Sandblasting & Industrial Coatings Pty Ltd offers the opportunity to develop skills in a specialised field within the trades and services sector.
