The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is seeking to employ an enthusiastic consultant to provide expert services in Radiation Oncology.

Together we can do more.This current permanent position is an opportunity for a talented and committed Radiation Oncologist to work within the established framework of a networked and integrated cancer service.
The Radiation Oncologist will have the opportunity to influence the future of Radiation Oncology services across ISLHD.
Whilst it might incorporate district wide responsibilities, the position is based at the Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre, Nowra.
A centre networked with other District facilities, providing essential cancer services for the growing South Coast population.In this role you will provide high quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on‐call specialty services in Radiation Oncology for all key tumours streams, and participate actively in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities commensurate with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
As a Staff Specialist you will ensure a high standard of professional performance and, where required, the encouragement of an academic environment which supports research and development.
