Senior TMT Lawyer (Special Counsel / Senior Associate)
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a standout opportunity for a senior lawyer to join a nationally recognised Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice within a broader Corporate & Commercial team.
You'll step into a well-established and high-performing practice advising on complex commercial, technology and payments matters across both private sector clients and government agencies.
With a strong national footprint, the team offers direct client exposure, high levels of autonomy, and the opportunity to work on strategically significant, high-impact projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Advising on complex commercial contracts and procurement arrangements
Working across technology, digital platforms and telecommunications matters
Supporting payments-related work, including platform-based solutions and digital frameworks
Advising on privacy, data protection and cybersecurity issues
Assisting with IP commercialisation and licensing arrangements
Contributing to government procurement and regulated digital product matters
Managing matters with increasing autonomy and mentoring junior lawyers.
ABOUT YOU
You are a commercially minded lawyer looking to deepen your expertise in TMT within a high-performing and supportive national practice.
You will bring:
4+ years' PAE in TMT and commercial matters
Strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial agreements
Experience advising on transactions and delivering practical client outcomes
An interest in sectors such as government, financial services, technology and health
A cooperative mindset and willingness to mentor junior lawyers.
