Perspective Recruitment are seeking experienced Warehouse operators and pickers to work with our client based in Kwinana Beach & Perth Airport.
Ensuring the safe and productive picking, packing, receipt, storage and dispatch of inventory to feed business operations and customer demand. This position will require casual ongoing, full‑time hours Monday to Friday.
Hours and Remuneration
7:00am-3:00pm (Mon-Fri)
$33.84-$35.96 per hour
Full Time Hours – Mon‑Fri
ASAP start – Kwinana Beach & Perth Airport Location
Responsibilities
Accurate and timely 'picking' of components as well as assembly and production work in a manufacturing environment
Receiving and high reach forklift operating
Receive and process inventory (unload, label, store)
Dispatch duties and receiving
RF scanning
Thoroughly inspect inventory for any damage and discrepancies
Qualifications
Must have Forklift Licence
Experience in warehousing is essential
High reach experience is essential
RF scanning experience or equivalent (MUST HAVE!)
Driver's licence would be ideal
Understand weight distribution for loading/unloading trucks
Strong communication skills – can relate to people from different cultural backgrounds
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working independently as well as in a team
Able to accurately complete paperwork
Able to work with minimal supervision
Flexible, enthusiastic and able to use initiative
Able to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
Comfortable performing routine, repetitive tasks
Able to lift and move heavy objects – valuable physical fitness required
Able to stand for extended periods
Positive numeracy and mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of process environments
Experience in a similar position, within the lighting or a related industry, desirable
Experience with operating machinery, forklifts
