The Role
We're looking for aValue Stream Technical Supervisor – Plasticsto lead our technical, trades, and reliability teams across the plastics value stream.
You'll ownasset performance, tooling readiness, automation support, and capital project deliveryacross moulding, preform, blow moulding, and downstream assets.
This is a role for someone who combinesdeep plastics manufacturing knowledgewith a genuine appetite forAI, digital tools, automation, and change leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading maintenance and reliability execution acrossmoulding machines, preform, blow moulding, downstream automation, and associated utilities
Reducing reactive maintenance throughdisciplined PM, tooling care, defect elimination, and failure prevention




Drivingroot cause analysison critical equipment failures, recurring stops, scrap events, and process instability
Leading the safe introduction, optimisation, and support ofrobotic and automated systemsacross plastics and end-of-line handling
Supportingcapital projectsfrom business case through to commissioning and handover
UsingCMMS, machine data, and AI-enabled insightsto identify trends in downtime, scrap, recurring faults, and improvement opportunities
Building team capability inautomation awareness, digital discipline, data literacy, and troubleshooting
Supportingautonomous maintenance,strengthening operator and setter ownership of basic equipment care
Leading your team throughchange,embedding new technologies and smarter ways of working
What You'll Bring
Trade or technical background with experience inplastics manufacturing maintenance and reliability
Strong understanding ofpreventive maintenance, asset reliability, and maintenance systemsin high-speed environments
Demonstratedleadership capabilityin a technical, maintenance, or plastics manufacturing environment
Solid working knowledge ofCMMS, planning, and work order management
Experience withroot cause analysis, defect elimination,



and continuous improvement
Ability to coordinate acrossoperations, setters, production, planning, and engineering
Exposure toautomation, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and digital tools
Capability tolead through changeand build team capability in new ways of working
