About the role
This 12-month fixed-term contract is ideal for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner who enjoys working across a broad range of HR initiatives while influencing leaders at all levels.
As the Senior People & Culture Business Partner (AO6), you will partner with senior leaders to deliver expert people management advice and practical HR solutions across a diverse portfolio.
You'll play a key role in supporting organisational capability, workforce planning, leadership development and change initiatives, while helping deliver strategic people outcomes aligned with the organisation's People First strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR advice and coaching
Build trusted relationships across the organisation to support business outcomes




Provide expert guidance on:Employee relations
Workforce planning
Organisational design
Talent management
Performance management
Change management
Coach and develop leaders to build capability and drive high performance
Identify workforce risks and opportunities, developing practical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
Support the delivery of strategic workforce initiatives and People & Culture projects
Influence decision-making through active participation in leadership forums
Contribute to learning and development initiatives and continuous improvement activities
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who combines strategic thinking with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
You'll bring:
Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality HR services within a complex organisation
Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, policies and employment legislation
Experience partnering with senior and executive leaders
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
Solid coaching and influencing capability
Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



including the ability to prepare high-quality reports and correspondence
A proactive, team-oriented and customer-focused approach
Highly Regarded
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline
Experience within a large public sector or healthcare environment
Requirements
Current Queensland 'C' Class Driver Licence
Ability to undertake occasional travel, including overnight stays when required
Australian working rights
Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including criminal history and other employment checks
