As an Engineering Graduate at Westpac, you'll build scalable, secure and intelligent technology - powering smarter customer experiences and shaping how millions of Australians interact with money.
You'll solve real engineering problems -writing code, launching solutions and seeing your work live in production, used by real customers.
Make an impact engineering the platforms, applications and services that power secure, seamless banking for millions of customers every day.
From cloud and automation to AI-driven solutions, you could build and evolve the technology that keeps Westpac innovative, resilient and future-ready.
What can you expect as a Technology Engineering Graduate?
As an Engineering Graduate, you'll join a dedicated engineering stream aligned to your skills, interests and future goals.
You could work across:
Enterprise Technology -infrastructure, platforms and automation
Consumer Finance Tech -everyday banking platforms
Digital Tech -customer-facing experiences
Institutional Banking Tech -business and trading systems
No two engineering pathways are the same.
You'll gain hands-on experience from day one while shaping your own career direction.
Over 12 months,



you'll be embedded within a specialised engineering stream, building depth in your chosen capability.
At six months, you'll move into a new team within the same stream to broaden your experience while maintaining focus.
You'll be supported by experienced engineers and mentors, working on meaningful projects that accelerate your development.

Eligibility
You must be in your final year of study of a university degree, or
You have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, but it must be no more than three years ago.
You also need to be an Australian or Recent Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident when you apply.
You will need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February ****.
