Experienced Case Manager, Workers Compensation

THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of our diverse team based acrossSydney, Parramatta or Newcastle, you will help make a positive impact on someone's life every day.

As our team continues to grow, we have positions available in our claims teams where you will manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims, your focus will be on providing a high level of service and supporting injured workers to recover from workplace injury and return to work.
This will be afull time, permanentposition based in theSydney, Parramatta or Newcastleoffices with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week after induction training is completed.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide early, timely and personal customer focused and empathetic service to injured workers and employers.
Proactively and effectively manage all aspects of a caseload of worker's compensation claims within the legislation and compliance guidelines.
Deliver the desired customer experience to all stakeholders and manage the end-to-end outcomes for a portfolio of cases.
Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations and responsibilities).
Conduct claims reviews, case conferences or face to face meetings with clients as required.
ABOUT YOU
Previous or current Victorian Workers Compensation scheme experience or injury management background
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
Strong PC skills with the ability to quickly pick up recent systems and processes
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders
Empathetic, resilient and solutions-focused when managing complex or sensitive situations
Proactive, self-motivated and able to think creatively to overcome challenges
High attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills
