Job Overview
Teacher Librarian – Bass High School (Sydney Region). Full time, one full time equivalent position with a remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00, including base salary ranging from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, leave loading, and employer superannuation contribution.

Base salary $90,177.00 – $137,861.00, depending on experience
Leave loading and employer superannuation contribution
Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 (for eligible applicants)
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a agile school library that supports teaching and learning
Promote literacy and foster a culture of reading across the school
Maintain and optimise library systems, budgets, and resource allocation
Qualifications
Approval to teach Library Secondary or current enrolment in approved LIS qualifications by the NSW Department of Education
Unconditional full approval to teach required for applicants
Demonstrated capacity to lead and manage a school library
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, enabling positive relationships with students, staff and the wider school community
Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills, including effective budgeting and resource allocation
Conditions
Applicants must hold, or be able to commence, full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education. Inclusion of WWCC clearance number is required in the application.
