Sharp & Carter are partnering with a market-leading organisation embarking on a significant business transformation following a recent acquisition.
As the business establishes itself as a standalone operation, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead procurement, commercial contracting and vendor governance across a large-scale technology transition.
The Prospect
Reporting into a senior finance leader, you'll work closely with Technology, Finance, Legal and the Transformation Office to deliver commercial outcomes that support one of the organisation's highest priority strategic initiatives.
You will take ownership of end-to-end IT procurement while establishing governance frameworks, supplier management processes and commercial best practice that will support the business well beyond the transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecommunications and managed services
Negotiate complex technology contracts and commercial agreements
Develop and implement fit-for-purpose procurement policies, processes and governance
Partner with technology and business leaders to provide commercial procurement advice
Manage supplier onboarding,
vendor evaluations and due diligence
Oversee contract renewals, supplier performance, SLAs and commercial risk
Monitor technology spend and identify cost savings and commercial efficiencies
Work collaboratively with Legal to ensure appropriate contractual protections are in place
Provide reporting and insights to senior stakeholders throughout the transformation program
About You
You'll be an experienced IT procurement professional who enjoys building capability and influencing stakeholders across complex environments.
You'll bring:
Proven experience managing end-to-end IT procurement and strategic sourcing activities
Strong commercial negotiation experience across software licensing, SaaS, cloud and technology services
Experience developing procurement processes and embedding governance frameworks
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
Knowledge of vendor management, supplier governance and contract lifecycle management
Experience supporting large transformation or project environments will be highly regarded
