We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded lawyer to play a key role in advising a diverse range of clients across corporate transactions, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and energy and resources matters.
Working alongside highly regarded partners and practitioners, you'll have the opportunity to build deep technical expertise, take ownership of matters, and contribute to the continued growth of a thriving national practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on corporate and commercial transactions and agreements.
Conduct legal research and provide analysis on corporate and commercial matters.
Assist with client consultations and the preparation of meeting materials and advice.
Participate in due diligence processes and other transactional activities.
Support capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
Build and maintain solid relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
2-3 years of post-admission corporate experience
Experience with joint ventures, asset and company acquisitions and disposals, capital raisings for both listed and unlisted clients and a firm understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and general corporate compliance
Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
Ability to effectively manage time, handle competing tasks, and work to tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
