The position of a Oxy Operator is responsible for the operation of the oxy cutter, overhead gantry crane and where needed forklifts to achieve efficient, on time and quality cutting for supply.

ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in operating oxy cutter and overhead gantry crane.
Experience in manual handling
Ability to interpret and work off nests




Ability to measure using various types of measuring equipment (Vernier, calliper's and micrometers)
Have a strong work ethic
Plan workload to achieve daily targets
Give significant attention to detail
Maintain the highest safety standards
High level organisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
Clear problem solver, proven ability to understand and deal with difficult questions or situations.
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)
Currently have the right to work in Australia
Pass a Police Check

The company stocks a large range, in different steel plate grades between 3mm-300mm, and operates the largest dedicated steel plate profiling and processing facilities in NSW.
