About the Opportunity

Perioperative Services at Mercy Hospital for Women includes four operating theatres, PACU, Day Surgery/DOSA, Preadmission Clinic, and Acute Pain Service. The position offers adaptable shifts, with a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

Key Responsibilities
Provide anaesthetic/PACU and/or scrub/scout nursing care as part of a motivated clinical team.
Deliver exceptional patient‑centred care and support surgical team activities.
Adapt to changing clinical demands, manage time efficiently and communicate effectively within the team.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years recent experience as Anaesthetic/PACU and/or Scrub/Scout Nurse.
Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
Excellent clinical, time‑management, organisational and communication skills.
Compassionate,



adaptable and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
Ability to nurture respectful relationships and contribute to a team-oriented team environment.

Pre‑employment Requirements
Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders.
