Pegasus Care provides trauma-informed, therapeutic care to children and young people in Out-of-Home Care.

We are currently seeking Therapeutic Youth Workers to support children and young people in Out-of-Home Care homes across Sydney.

About you
You are calm, emotionally steady and able to hold boundaries with warmth and consistency.
You communicate clearly,
work well within a team and are open to feedback.
You understand the importance of safety, predictability and therapeutic relationships in a secure OOHC environment.
Minimum 6 months paid experience working in Out-of-Home Care.
Qualifications
Minimum Certificate III, IV or Diploma of Community Services
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of therapeutic, strengths-based and person-centred care
ARC therapeutic model training (or willingness to complete)
Mandatory requirements (or willingness to obtain)
NSW Working With Children Check
National Police Check (less than 12 months)
NSW Driver's Licence
First Aid and CPR
NDIS Orientation Modules
Australian working rights
Two relevant referees
