Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Allocator to join our NSW Operations team based in Minchinbury.
This role is responsible for the coordination and allocation of our refrigerated transport fleet, covering both LTL and FTL operations.
Shift allocation (AM or PM) will be determined based on operational requirements and candidate suitability.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of temperature-controlled transport, a proven ability to manage complex allocations under pressure, and the communication skills to drive performance across drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and allocate daily fleet operations acrossLTL and FTLnetworks, ensuring efficient vehicle and driver utilisation.
Monitor live operations to maintainon-time delivery performanceand address any service issues proactively.
Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve delivery challenges.
EnsureChain of Responsibility (CoR),Fatigue Management, andMass Managementcompliance at all times.
Validate load plans,



manifests, and run sheets prior to dispatch.
Collaborate with allocation and operations teams to ensure seamless shift handovers and service continuity.
Monitor and manage overtime and subcontractor usage to maintain cost efficiency.
Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to ongoing safety and performance initiatives.
Support and coach new drivers and team members to uphold Minus 1's service standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum2–5 years' experienceinrefrigerated transport allocation(LTL & FTL preferred).
Strong understanding ofcold chain logisticsand temperature-sensitive freight handling.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in a quick-paced environment.
Experience usingTransport Management Systems (TMS)and Microsoft Office Suite.
Thorough understanding ofCoR,NHVAS, and general transport compliance requirements.
Strong focus on teamwork, accountability, and service delivery.
AM or PM shift opportunities available
Monday to Friday roster
