Job Description
Role Purpose
The Dev/Tech (Principal) Lead owns theend‐to‐endtechnical architecture and engineering standardsfor business‐criticaldigital platforms.
This role is ahands‐on technical leadership position,not a people‐only lead, responsible for ensuring solutions aresecure,scalable, cloud‐native, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Architectural Leadership
Drivearchitecture and design decisionsaligned with business outcomes.
Defineand enforcereusable design patterns and frameworks.
ApplyDomain‐Driven Design (DDD)principles.
Ensuresecurity by design, scalability, and resilience.
Leadand reviewfeature‐level technical designs.
Driveadoption ofmodern engineering frameworks and practices.
Leadcomplex internal and external system integrations.
Remainhands‐on where needed across backend, frontend, cloud, and CI/CD.
Cloud, DevOps & Automation
Architectand optimizemulti‐cloud solutions (AWS & Azure).




Defineand governCI/CD standards and reusable pipelinesin GitLab.
Mentorteams onIaC best practices using Terraform.
Establishrelease management governance.
Observability, Performance & Cost
Establishobservability frameworks(logging, monitoring, alerting).
Monitorperformance, reliability, and availability usingcloud‐nativemonitoring services.
Drivecost optimization, capacity monitoring, and performance tuning.
Automateoperational and service management tasks.
Quality, Testing & FrontendLeadership
Definetesting strategies across unit, integration, and E2E testing.
Ensuretesting is embedded in CI/CD.
Overseeadvanced frontend practices includingReact optimization and ModuleFederation.
Enforceaccessibility and quality standards.
Data & Platform Design
Definedata strategies:
Relationalvs NoSQL selection.
Shardingand partitioning for NoSQL where applicable.
EnsureHA/DR, scalability, and resilience.
Required Skills & Experience
Provenexperience as aTechnical Lead / Principal Engineerin cloud‐nativeplatforms.

Terraform
StrongDevOps mindset with hands‐on CI/CD experience.
Abilityto mentor Senior and Junior engineers at a technical level.
Strongunderstanding ofservice management, automation, and operations.
MustperformDev Lead or Tech Lead duties, not just coordination.
Mustbe capable of delivering architecture and designswithout client FTEdependency.
Accountablefor solution quality, performance, cost, and operational readiness.
