Work Locations: Projects across New South Wales and across the country FIFO from Sydney (We pay for your flights). Roster options: 2:1 or 4:2 (site & client dependent). Work types: A mix of client site and exploration projects (must be flexible, with both caravan & camp site accommodation).
Qualifications
Valid HR-B driver’s licence – Unrestricted (required) or willing to obtain prior to starting
National Police Clearance (within 12 months) (required)
Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen (required)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate (HLTAID009 & HLTAID011) (required)
FIFO from any capital city in Australia (Induction based in Perth, WA)
Physically fit with manual labour experience for 12-hour shifts in remote, harsh conditions
Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player
Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident to apply due to government traineeship
Duties
Mobilising the rig from one set-up to another
Handling core removal from tube, placing in core boxes and labelling box
Handling drilling rods and core tubes
Mixing drill fluid additives
Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean
Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs
