About The Role We are seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians to join our Maintenance Team at Blackwater.
In this position you will be required to perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of High Voltage mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities Will Include Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining machinery.Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance of commercial and industrial installations.Use of various technologies to investigate and diagnose equipment faults Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specificationsComplete scheduled maintenance, field breakdowns, servicing - inclusive of component change outs and statutory electrical testingEnsure electrical safety is paramount in the execution of all electrical workBe a proactive part of the sites electrical team in identifying improvementsWillingness to be able to perform in supervisory capacity when required About You Australian Recognised Trade Certificate/QLD Electrical License (essential)Experience working on a coal mine in QLD (essential)Experience with computerised maintenance management systems including SAP desirablePrevious experience in servicing and maintenance of mining mobile plant and equipment desirable Experience in Cat, Hitachi, Komatsu or Liebherr excavators and Caterpillar trucks (highly desirable)Safety focused with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes Working At BUMA BUMA Australia is a people focused business, with a solid emphasis on safety, training, development and continuous improvement.
