About the Role
As a Mentor with Authentic Support, you'll play an essential role in guiding mentees to discover their hopes, dreams, and goals — and supporting them on their journey to achieve them.

Some of the tasks and responsibilities of supporting a person with a disability involve
Assistance with daily tasks and activities
Personal daily care and hygiene needs
Community access and community inclusion
Emotional support
Mobility support
Transport help to appointments, therapies, social events, shopping and more
Learning opportunities
Home maintenance and cooking
Encouraging healthy and positive family relationships and friendships
Candidate's minimum requirements
All 3 NDIS e-learning modules: Orientation, Induction & Supporting effective communication.
COVID-19 infection control training
Working with children check (Blue Card)
NDIS worker check (Yellow Card)
Current driver's license and vehicle
Personal car and proof of valid registration
Full Comprehensive Car insurance
Proof of rights to work in Australia: Australia Birth Certificate, Australian Passport
