Role details
The Physiotherapy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Physiotherapist (Pelvic Health) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
This position is responsible for providing high level comprehensive physiotherapy clinical skills, knowledge and leadership within the area of Pelvic Health.
This includes women's health (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) services, men's health, urology services, and other populations with pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence.
This position is the key resource person providing high level clinical service and physiotherapy advice for staff, service managers and health care consumers of the Mackay Hospital and Health Service regarding women's and men's pelvic health and continence.
This position reports to the Director of Physiotherapy.
About the Team
Our Physiotherapy Service delivers care to patients, both adults and children, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings.
Our Physiotherapists aim to restore a person's function, maximising their mobility and health and minimising their dysfunction.
Treatment is tailored to each individual and is based on the patient's needs.
