About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiasticPublic Speaking & Debating Coachto join our growing team.
You will teach students aged7-16 years, delivering engaging lessons while preparing students for a variety of public speaking and debating competitions.
Your responsibilities include:
Teaching public speaking and debating to students of different age groups and abilities
Coaching students for school, regional, state and national competitions
Developing students' speech writing, persuasive speaking,



debating and presentation skills
Building confidence, critical thinking and leadership
Providing constructive feedback and mentoring students to achieve their personal best
Working collaboratively with the ICC Education teaching team
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Essential
Experience teaching or coaching Public Speaking and/or Debating
Experience working with children or teenagers (7-16 years)
Strong public speaking, communication and presentation skills
A passion for mentoring and inspiring young people
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
Highly Regarded
Applicants with one or more of the following will be highly regarded:
Competitive Public Speaking experience
Competitive Debating experience
Experience coaching students for public speaking or debating competitions
Experience as aPublic Speaking or Debating Adjudicator (Judge)
Experience judging school, regional or state competitions
University debating experience
Toastmasters membership or leadership experience
Drama, Education, Law, Communications or English background
