A leading Sunshine Coast firm is seeking a driven Litigation Senior Lawyer to join its growing dispute resolution practice, with a focus on building & construction matters.
Working closely with other experienced senior practitioners across construction, litigation and insolvency, this role offers excellent exposure to a diverse mix of contentious matters and the prospect to build a well-rounded practice.
You will work across a mix of civil litigation and construction disputes, with exposure to:Building & construction litigationSecurity of payment adjudications and related appealsContractual disputes across residential and commercial projectsInsolvency-related litigation, including corporate and personal mattersCourt processes including pleadings, interlocutory applications, trials and appealsThis is a hands-on role with strong file ownership and client interaction from the outset.




About You5+ years' PAE in civil litigation and/or construction lawStrong working knowledge of UCPR and court processesExperience or exposure to Security of Payment legislation (highly regarded)Familiarity with Australian Standard and Master Builders/HIA contractsExposure to insolvency or bankruptcy matters (advantageous)A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail The OpportunityWork closely with experienced senior lawyers and accredited specialistsExposure to a broad mix of litigation and construction mattersSupportive environment with strong mentoring and developmentFlexibility on location depending on experience (Sunshine Coast-based, Maroochydore or other Sunny Coast locations)Competitive, market-aligned salary Apply today or get in touch with Angela Grant for full details.
