Job Description
POWERED AT DAWN PTY LTD is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Engineering Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis in Marrickville, NSW.
The role involves preparing detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation to support electrical engineering projects in accordance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Assist electrical engineers with design development and documentation
Use CAD software (including AutoCAD) to produce accurate drawings
Interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical requirements
Update and revise drawings based on design changes
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and WHS requirements




Maintain drawing registers and document control systems
Liaise with engineers, project managers, and site personnel as required
Skills and Experience Required
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Drafting or related field
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
Knowledge of electrical systems and components
Understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Salary $82,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation (commensurate with skills and experience)
