Armadale Districts Surgery is looking for a proactive, reliable and friendly registered nurse to join our team starting ASAP. This is a part time role for 2 /3 days per week - no weekend hours. You would be joining our supportive and friendly team of 3 doctors, 1 nurse, 1 psychologist and 3 physiotherapists.
Responsibilities
Work part-time with occasional full‑time holiday cover.
Provide care in general practice.
Carry out treatment room duties including: immunisations, wound care management, ear syringing, ECG, spirometry and ABIs, preparation of chronic disease management care plans and health assessments, INR and venesections, recalls, reminders and stock control.
Qualifications
Registration with AHPRA.
Ability to work autonomously.
National Police Clearance Certificate.
Experience with Best Practice.
Ability to work autonomously using one’s own initiative within a team environment.
Proficiency in e‑mail, word processing and database applications.
